  • February 19--Erik Morales won a 12-round split-decision over Marco Antonio Barrera to retain his WBC super bantamweight title in Las Vegas.

  • February 12 -- Vassiliy Jirov stopped Saul Montana in the ninth round to retain his IBF cruiserweight title in Boise, Idaho.
  • February 12 -- Kostya Tszyu recorded an eighth-round knockout over Ahmed Santos in Uncasville, Conn. to retain his WBC super lightweight title.
  • February 12 -- Zab Judah knocked out Jan Bergman in the fourth round in Uncasville, Conn., to win the vacant IBF junior welterweight title.
