I'm back on the scene but before getting into the action, let me share with you my beginnings in the great sport.

It started with ABC "Wide World of Sports". Who could forget the introduction.(the guy taking the header on the slopes). But what stood out were Howard Cosell’s commentaries and professional boxing. That’s where it all started for me.

A sort of OK weekend of boxing, highlighted by Acelino Freitas

I am starting to warm up to Arcelino Freitas a bit, but I still expect a whole lot more from him. I thought the Teddy Reid-Elio Ortiz bout stole the show. Ole Roy at it again?

By Ron Miller

When I first started this column, I concentrated more on the "gambling", betting aspect on my article. I seemed to have shifted more toward opinion. I have not been "pulling the trigger" when I should have.
